The brand new Yamaha FZ-S V2.0 has been recently launched by our Bollywood bike connoisseur, John Abraham on 30th June.
These bikes shall be available in the market from either 25th or 26th July 2014. A new technology termed as the Blue Core Technology has been introduced by Yamaha Motor India in the V 2.0 of the FZ bikes. They plan to introduce the same technology in their complete line-up which will include carbureted motorcycles.
The usage of the Blue Core Technology has increased combustion efficiency and a drastic reduction in power loss. Various optimizations such as; design refinement of combustion chamber, inlet port, valve arrangement and such are carried out in engine of new FZ-S.
The version 2.0 Yamaha FZ-S comes with 149cc engine generating 13.1 PS max. power @ 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm peak torque @ 6000 rpm. Yamaha claims that V2.0 of the FZ’s accelerated marginally better and provides improved mileage of 14%.
These smart looking bikes can be booked with an advance of Rs. 5,000 advance. Price of new FZ-S FI is Rs. 88,847, on-road Pune. Sale of the earlier versions continues @ Rs. 82,000 for the old FZ-S.
